Hey there! Welcome to Crusin' The Waves! I'm a twenty- something year old born and raised on Cape Cod, Mass. I am a registered Nurse. I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from American International College. I am a lover of beagles, a nice glass of Riesling, jewelry and any and all shoes. My idea of a perfect day begins with relaxing on the beach with my toes in the sand, and ends with watching trashy reality television shows on Bravo with my mom. I am a firm believer that laughter is the best medicine.
In August 2013, I was diagnosed with Perioral Dematitis. That is the beginning of a journey I liked to call "The Autoimmune Storm". In September 2014 I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis (among other things). Since the summer of 2013, I have researched and learned a ton about all things autoimmune. I eventually built up the courage to start this blog to share my journey with others, and hopefully help others with similar stories along the way!
Although I will be sharing my health journey, I also want to share happy and fun parts of my life. The blog is called Crusin' The Waves after all! I'll be sharing my love for fashion, beauty, nursing, Cape Cod and life's everyday muses as well.
Thank you so much for stopping by to read my blog!
